The Panthéon's New face
The National Monument Center, inspired by the Inside/Out project, asked the street artist JR to develop "Tous au Panthéon" a participative artwork revealing portraits of anonymous persons.
With major renovation which started this year, we can say that JR offered the Panthéon a new face. It is actually not one, but 4000 faces that are now covering the dome and the interior of the monument.
Shooted in March 2014 thanks to JR's roaming camera-truck, these unknown persons will remain on the dome until the end of the constructions while the interior will only last till October 5th 2014.
