The box : Dominique Tarlé & Les Rolling Stones
Gathering photographs taken in 1971, the exhibition The Box presents the making of the mythical album "Exile on Main Street". It relates the extraordinary friendship between the French photographer and the Rolling Stones.
In the spring 71, Dominique Tarlé met up with the band in the south of France due to a tax exile. When he was about to leave, after a day of shooting, he was asked to stay for the night. Instead, Tarlé stayed six months !
No other photographer was as close to the band as he was, during a turning point in their career.
