Rose c'est Paris - Bettina Rheims
There has always been a strong relationship between Bettina Rheims and the Maison Européenne de la Photography. First, in 1990 when she exhibited her Modern Lovers series and then in 2000 with her controversial I.N.R.I. Thus, there was no other place, that could showcase for the first time in Paris, her journey through 40 years of photography!
Bettina Rheims has a talent for embracing transgression, a vision that does away with conventions, and an eye that reveals the most profound and universal inner worlds.
As a brilliant portraitist, but above all, an image-maker and a story-teller, she has mastered the codes of nude photography and diverted them to put feminity at its core.
Bettina Rheims, until March 27th 2016 at Maison Européenne de la Photographie.
